Orwell Race Night

The orwell hearts race night 2012 will be held at the Carrickvale Golf Club on the 31st of March. Doors open at 7 and we hope to see you there. Tickets are price at only £5 for members and guests a like. As well as the horse racing, you get a fantastic buffet, auction and disco. So a real bargin. Bring friends and remember last years sold out, leaving some members alone at home watching Hibs on BBC ALBA!!!

Horses and tickets cost £5 and Kev Bonar is the man to see.

Manchester Hearts

Is a go! Hotels and Coach have been booked. Orwell Football team is in a secret training camp in the Tuscan Hills. And so far no Neil McFarlane in sight!!! If you fancy it give Scott or Bruce a shout.

 

Player Of The Year

Big thanks to everyone who supported the Orwell Hearts Player of the Year Dance; we hope you all enjoyed it.

After much stressing about this year POTYD we hope you all had a great night. We certainly feel the night went well and the vast increase in attendees was very much a welcome sight. The highlights of the night included; Marian Kello picking up his player of the year award, Scott Robinson picking up the young player of the year award on behalf of Eggert ‘we should have went for Temps’ Johansson (Jonsson) and Lewis Bushnell picking up the Orwell Hearts young supporter of the year.
We would like to thank all the Orwell committee for their efforts. With special thanks going to Gordon and Dianne for providing a truly fantastic buffet and also to Bruce for going that extra mile when making sure we got a suitable venue.
